August 2025 Chapter Meeting

Join the local Rochester ISSA chapter for our July chapter meeting.

The Rochester ISSA chapter invites you to an evening of fun at X-Golf in Pittsford Plaza. Come out and have some fun with your fellow security professionals! Whether you are a seasoned veteran golfer or just beginning, there is something for everyone. You may bring your own set of clubs, however they have golf clubs to borrow.

James Carroll, Co-Founder and Ethical Hacker at Hacket Cyber gives us a look under the hood of how it’s done by the pros. Carroll has been professionally hacking networks for more than a decade, protecting the data of clients ranging from NFL teams to banks, hospitals, credit unions, and even dairy farms.

Admission is free for current ISSA members and $20 for non-members or those with expired memberships. Space is limited so please RSVP.

James Carroll will outline the most common ways attackers are breaching networks and cover critical components that organizations must know to protect their networks from attackers.
